WIP Wednesday

I wish I could show you a good deal of progress in my knitting and some new project started, but I have been consumed with keeping up with the school work and getting ready for our little Halloween festivities.  And laundry.  Lots and lots of laundry.  So, today's works in progress are:
Beans baking a la Nourishing Traditions,

Butter churned and ready to strain, rinse and knead,

"Mischbrot" (mixed grain bread) rising.

And laundry.

  1. nice WIPs.

Mine today are similar. Last night I knit a swatch for a sweater. Does that count? And I measured it this morning. Everything moves very slowly with a 2yo, 4yo, 6yo and 8yo! Except the dishes and laundry.

  4. Often enough it takes me two days to finish a load of laundry or batch of butter, in spite of the fact that I am up at 4:45 and down at about 10 every day. School just takes so much time when the kids are too old for "unschooling" and too young for self-directed schooling!
