Yarn Along--a sweepstakes for knitters!

I'm joining in Ginny's Yarn Along again this week.  I put aside the cowl I was knitting just to have something to knit and now am happily working on a gift project for someone who may read this but who does not, I am quite certain, have a Ravelry account.

As for my reading, I stopped in the middle of Bilbo's Journey: Discovering the Hidden Meaning of The Hobbit, and picked up one of Una's books on my Kindle, Waking Rose by Regina Doman.  I've read two of her other fairy tale novels, and they are really quite good.  This one is is really in the "Young Adult" category, as it contains some adult themes.  I really enjoyed it, and it was enough of a page-turner that I stayed up past my bedtime several nights in a row!
