That's a great photo! Glad you explained a little about it too nadja! Have a peacefilled weekend. Katie x
Very impressive bruises there! I am assuming the ran into each other? Happy weekend to you and your lovely family. Jacinta x
Actually, the black eyes occurred on two separate days! Gemma got snapped at by our farm dog who is an outdoor dog and really sweet, but not so much a family pet, and she likely grabbed his foot, which is injured right now(I was terrified when I saw how close to the eye he got. Everyone is on strict orders to give him space until he is healed up). Dominic got hit by a stick one of the kids had tied onto our rope swing the very next day!
Oh no! We had a similar incident when our daughter was snapped on the eye by our docile cat. A little overdose on catnip made him crazy. We applied comfrey steeped in olive oil, and it healed up so quickly!our moment:http://herbanhomestead.blogspot.com/2011/09/this-moment-photographer.html
What a beautiful place. I am glad to have stumbled upon you. Blessings to you and yours.
Oh no, poor little ones! Hope they heal quickly!
My sons just had matching eyes like this a few weeks ago! Love your blog! Wanted you to know I gave you a blog award here http://ejoym.blogspot.com/2011/09/im-honored.htmlHave a blessed day!
Thank you, Elizabeth! I started this blog for myself and my family, and to connect with other home-schooling Catholic moms, but it is always such a pleasure to know that other people like it, too!
OH my heavens! Poor things!! OUCH
Awww! Poor babies! Still awfully cute though :)
Oh OUCH, my 14 mo old grandson is sporting a shiner as well. They look so adorable lovin on each other. Thanks for sharing.http://jovanesphotos.blogspot.com/2011/09/friday-moment_29.html
They both look like they are proud of their marks. Children are so resilient though, it won't take long for them to fade, just in time for them to get some more LOL.http://othersideofanna5.blogspot.com/2011/09/friday-moment.html#more
