This week in Crazy-Mama Land...

...I finished the new stockings,

I made a bunch of cards with the kids' recycled watercolors,

knit another foot or so of Una's chenille scarf,

started a second hat, very much like the one I made last week,

and made up a few batches of cookie dough to set aside for baking-week.

What I did not do:  get caught up on our Jesse Tree ornaments, cast on a Milo for Gemma, order a baptismal certificate for my Goddaughter from TradeMark Catholic Stationery or get enough sleep.

I'm joining Linda at Natural Suburbia for this week's Creative Friday.  Take a look at what others are up to!

  1. Oh my your Christmas cards are just beautiful. Did you have a template for the shapes?

And your knitting is coming along beautifully.

  3. That, my dear Momma Rae, is probably because I got the idea for the cards by looking at your "repurposed" kids' art post! Many thanks for that, and I cant wait to try some of the other ideas!

  4. What great ideas! I love the Christmas cards, they are SO beautiful. I miss making glittery beautiful papery crafts. I need to make some. I think making the dough ahead of time is a great idea. I would have never thought of that. Silly, I know.

  7. so many wonderful projects and that purple chenille scarf looks amazing. I can just imagine how beautifully soft to the touch it will be :) There just isn't enough hours in a day during this time of year to fit in everything is there! Have a wonderful weekend :)
