{this moment}: education al fresco

{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember.  Hosted by SouleMama.

  4. Ha! Ha! I love this photo! Yesterday, we went to the state fair. It was Home School day, amongst other things. So lovely to see so many (large) homeschool families in attendance. Where all are you located? We are down in TX.

I have four littles. Although, I was the middle of nine. Enjoyed my childhood!

  10. that is a perfect homeschool moment!
don't you wish sometimes you could pause and rewind those days?
    i know i do!

ps.i am smiling at the "are they all yours" comment. we're catholic! of course they are all yours! :)
but that's just me being cheeky.

pss. i totally agree with you about chucking the tv out the window. my bigger kids are now in the habit of trying to constantly corrupt themselves via the media. and it breaks. my. heart. i HATE cable. and we only have it because it is my husband's way of unwinding from a long. hard. day.

ppss. my heart is aching for baby gemma. weaning is heartbreaking enough when they do it themselves.(at least it was so for me). just be sure you snuggle with her during that time any way. sort of like a "spiritual communion". i can't give you my milk(body), baby. but i can give you my lovin'. perhaps that'll ease the pain a bit for both of you.
hope you get rid of that nasty thrush soon. poor mama.

    xo.
