St. Faustina and Divine Mercy

Generally, we assist at Mass at the Chapel of Divine Mercy in South Union, KY.  The priests there are the Fathers of Mercy and they have a special devotion to St. Faustina, the apostle of Divine Mercy.  It is through her that our Lord gave us the beautiful Divine Mercy image, with the words, "Jesus, I Trust In You" beneath it.  It is through her that we have been given the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

The time for Judgement will come to each of us, but right now, this moment, is the time for God's Mercy.  Let us not fail in taking full advantage of it by recognizing our brokenness, our poverty, our selfishness, and placing ourselves before our ever-patient Lord, asking Him in all humility to forgive us, to receive us back, to strengthen our good resolutions and to make us whole.

  1. I just discovered your blog! Love it!

We are big fans of the Divine Mercy Chaplet. All my kids have been saying it since about the age of 2. We say it most nights as a family (especially when time is too short to say a full Rosary).
