First Photos of Madeline Therese!

Just got these from my email. It seems she has lost some of her birth weight and now is a wispy 1lb 11oz. In the first photo, not long after her birth it seems, you can see Cindy's ring around Maddie's wrist! In the last photo is my beloved friend, Cindy, with Madeline, her tenth-born child.

  1. What a beautiful baby girl! Prayers are still coming - thanks for keeping us updated, Nadja. If possible, please let Cindy's family know they are most certainly in my prayers!

  3. Dear Nadja,
How precious she is and how hard for Cindy. We will add them both to our prayers.
Sorry I haven't checked in lately or returned your e-mail, I will soon. Been busy planning school and Stephen is home so that changes the way I spend my time. I promise I will get to the e-mail before too long.
Just had to let you know to be assured of our prayers.
    God Bless

  6. Hello! I happened upon your blog from Catholic Family Vignettes and was surprised to see pictures of baby Madeline. My husband was with the FOM for a few years and developed a friendship with Madeline's family. We also received pictures from Katie yesterday and are praying hard for Madeline and the rest of the family. Thank you for posting the pictures and updates.

  7. What a teeny tiny miracle. My niece Coleigh was born at 24wks along and weighed 1 pound 8oz at birth, her photos look a lot like beautiful little Madeline. I'll keep her in my prayers as well as her family. Beautiful little baby. So tiny and precious.

  8. I too had nieces that were born at 24 weeks. One was 1lb 10oz and the other 1lb 11oz. I will be keeping Cindy, little Maddie in my prayers. It is a very LONG, DIFFICULT journey. . .but here we are 3 years later and my nieces are growing strong and happy. They are beautiful little girls. The power of prayer should never be discounted, they only gave our babies less than a 20% chance of survival. I cannot tell you how many Hail Mary's went up for those little ladies. May God hold them tight, and they feel His love and comfort.
