It's beginning to feel like summer...

...these last few days. We haven't had to use the a.c. yet, but the ceiling fans are all running most of the day, and the kids, now officially off from school for the next few weeks, are spending a lot of time getting wet and requesting fruit smoothies. The bugs are beginning to attack my tomatoes, and it is too warm to do gardening work except in the early morning and early evening hours. The buttercup blight in pastures is finally dying down. And we had a real summer storm a few nights ago, nonstop lightning and what seemed like one continuous roll of thunder.
