Adventures in dining...

Since we had to go into Nashville yesterday for an appointment, we made a stop at the world food market.  I hadn't been there in about five years, so I got very excited about all the wonderful products I hadn't seen in ages, and was temped to load up my cart.  I controlled my impulses, however, and walked out with a mere basket of goodies.

We looked at the trays of octopus and squid, wrinkled our noses at the preserved duck eggs, and laughed at things like "Mannish Water Ram Goat Flavored Soup".  We got some lollipops made from goat's milk before leaving, and those were declared delicious.

And now I have been labeled as "gross" by my older kids...all because I had miso soup with tofu and seaweed for breakfast (Gemma liked the soup and tofu, but I guess seaweed must be an acquired taste!)
