New residents at Patch O' Dirt Farm

The menagerie expands. With some trepidation on my part, and enormous delight on my children's, we welcome Snowdrop and Cottontail:

  1. Bunnies!!! I love bunnies!!!

I bet your children are delighted...we had a rabbit for 5 years. His name was "Bun-bun."

When we purchased him, he was supposed to be a mini-lop eared bunny. He was neither "mini" nor lop-eared...he was one of the biggest domesticated rabbits I've ever seen! Beautiful, and a lot of fun.

    Enjoy your new residents!

  2. The young man who gave them to us asked if my husband had a cage to carry them in, because, he said, they scratch and squirm. Well, maybe they just didn't like him very much, because they seem to be the most docile, sweet-tempered little things imaginable!

  3. We had rabbits when I was young. We initially had four rabbits. In separate cages. Then one day we had 22 rabbits. Hmmmm....

  4. Um, how far apart were those cages, Deacon?
