Yesterday afternoon Una came to me and said, "I'm so hot and sweaty!", and so, being the kindly mother that I am, and not wishing to have my children evaporate, I broke down and turned on the air conditioning. But it was at my daughter's request, you know.
The badge of my bravery for withstanding 86 degree indoor temperatures: a heat rash on my tummy. Hurrah.
