A week of contrasts--from "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" to "Crucify him!" From calling Jesus, "King of Israel" to shouting, "We have no king but Caesar!" From waving palms and casting their clothes before Him as he rode into Jerusalem, to stripping Him of His clothes before the Cross.
How fickle we are, and how easily swayed by popular opinion. If Peter himself denied even knowing the Lord, how would we have done, not having dwelt with Him for three years and observed His miracles, listened to His teachings from His own lips?
