{pretty, happy, funny, real}: 8 September 2011

~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

I am joining Rosie this week for another edition of {pretty, happy, funny, real}:

{pretty}
The silhouette of geese flying overhead

The inside of a geode Sebastian found down at the creek on the KY property

{happy}
...and I am happy along with him, because I no longer have to wiggle his tooth twice a day to see how loose it is!

We are {happy} to have chess games and hot tea on grey, damp afternoons.

{funny}
Potty training continues to go well.  Perhaps a little too well...

{real}
No {real} shot this week.  Our first week of school was off to a rocky start, mainly because of illness, lack of sleep, and lots of rain early in the week.  We are trying to find our new rhythm, and it may take another week or two before it begins to feel natural and not imposed.  The weekend promises drier, sunnier weather and mild temperatures, so it may be just what we need.

    I hope your week gets better! We need to find a new rhythm too, I suppose it will come with the start of my bigger guy's preschool mornings next week... Ever the adventure.
