Can you see them?

Outside our window...


...almost perfectly camouflaged...


...a pair of praying mantises...


..and one of them sees me!

    Oh I was looking for a snake. Where we live that is what we find in trees now that the weather is warming up.

    I LOVE praying mantises!! We had a field full of them at our old house. They're so wise looking, and really do follow you with their eyes!! Amazing critters.
