On Wednesday we have a follow-up appointment at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital for Gemma and Adrian. I hope to make a stop in at Trader Joe's as well, as we almost never go into Nashville. The appointment is in the afternoon, and in the morning I have to bake a chocolate-peanut butter cheesecake for Bret's birthday on Thursday, which we will likely celebrate in the evening. Gabe has a dental appointment in the morning.
French Toast and blueberries
The weekend was quite lovely and relaxed. I got a bit of reading and knitting done, and finished my craft for the Sending Love Heart Swap (I don't want to post a photo of it until I am pretty sure it has been received by my swap-mate).
Setting up barricades for a Nerf Gun battle
Since we knew going to early Masses two days running would be pushing it with the little guys (Adrian, Dominic and Gemma), we went to the vigil Mass yesterday and stayed home today. It felt very strange to be home on a Sunday, but the weather was absolutely gorgeous. It was like a breath of spring, with a nearly constant breeze that felt quite cool at times.
Lazy lunch--popcorn and watermelon!
If you would, kindly say a pray for little Gregory, the son of a friend. He has been released from the hospital after 10 days with no real change in his condition and all test results coming back negative. He is in a lot of pain, and he is only 3 1/2 years old. His mama still has a nursing babe to care for, and seven other children to care for as well. My hope is that he will be given complete healing with no return of this terrible thing...may God reward you for your prayers.
Blessings to you. Your home looks like so much fun~
