[If you are reading this for the May 11th Yarn Along, I'm afraid I goofed! My May 11th post and the book giveaway are here]
I am joining Ginny again this week for her fun Yarn Along, just so that you can see a bit of progress and the same old yarn you've been seeing on my blog for, uh, way too long...
I am plugging away at this sweater, determined to finish it without the distraction of working on several knitting projects at once. But I am sooo longing to knit this, and this and this. And pullovers for the boys. And doll clothes for the doll Gemma will get for her next birthday. I just have to stay focused.
As for reading, I am nearly done with The Invisible World (really, I am; I know I keep saying that, but I always have to choose between reading and knitting, and the knitting usually wins out), but I have picked this one out for the month of May, a month dedicated to our Blessed Mother.
Here's hoping you'll be back here next week and have something else to look at besides this!
good luck with finishing :) stay focused! you can do it! :D ...it's lovely pink and it will be beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteDear Nadja,
ReplyDeleteI struggle to stick with one project or one book too.
I love the colour of this project and think it will be so beautiful when finished
Blessings

a beautiful beginning:) love your blog:)
ReplyDeletea lovely little sweater :) it's taking me forEVER to finish my book too!
ReplyDeleteI know how it is...knitting always wins for me! That is probably why I love audiobooks so much - that way I get them both done at the same time!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I had to add all three of those Rav links to my favourites! They are all so cute! Thanks for sharing the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteall three of your want to be projects are so sweet! I say start them :)
ReplyDeleteYour blog is wonderful. That sweater is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been here in a while so this is new to me. The sweater is darling!
ReplyDeletei love that wee pink sweater! so precious :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little sweater you're making. I love the Esprit vest you linked to also. I can never focus on just one project--I've always got a few going on. I think it's a family trait I inherited to flit around and leave lots of half finished projects!
ReplyDeleteknitting for little ones is so fun! And now with such variety in yarns, you can actually knit something that is washable and looks good, too!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy ... so much to knit, so little time!
well, that sweater is very cute! I know what you mean. I gave myself permission to take a break from the cape I'm knitting, but now I don't have the love to finish it. Trying to muster it though...
