{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. Hosted by SoulMama.
This is too precious. I started putting my daughter's hair in braids as soon as I could, and she still asks me to braid her hair now, age 20! I love it! It is such a joy to stroke and brush a daughter's hair. When she was tiny, her braids were tiny, too, with just a little sweet thin shiny twist or two. love, Beth
OMGosh! I love how they are just sticking straight out that way! Could she be any cuter? And of course, no childhood is complete without that book, right? Would you believe that we still have a copy of my husband's from when he was a lil' lovie? Its in French, and falling a part at the seams, but such a treasure! :)
I'm stopping by from Soule Mama's {This Moment}. I hope you'll do the same! You can see our moment @ http://sofiasideas.com/2011/01/14/this-moment-12/
Too too cute. I am showing the picture to Anna. She refuses to have anything put in her hair. Abby and I are longing to tie ponytails and put clips in her hair - but she just pulls everything out!!
The Hungry Caterpillar is also one of Anna's favorite books!

ReplyDeleteOh so sweet! I love "first" pigtails, the way they stand up so "nice". She looks like such a big girl pigtails and reading and all.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Elizabeth
So, so very cute!
ReplyDeleteLaughing out loud! (I have an aversion to typing LOL!;)) Adorable. Marin is in my lap, and at first look, she said, "Hey, that's me!" +JMJ+
