We have too little land for what we want to do farm-wise, and we have 34 acres in Kentucky just waiting for us to find a way to put a house on it. We hope to raise a few more of the same kinds of animals we have now, plus meat chickens and honey bees. And we also hope to plant fruit trees and a garden that will provide for most of our needs. Right now we couldn't all that in any case, but the kids are getting older and will eventually be able to help out quite a bit. Bret is already doing all he can, working full time and running things here.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, I do so appreciate it! I usually respond to questions in the comments section, so check back if there is something you wanted me to respond to!

Oh, how I miss those hills. Gorgeous photos -- thanks so much for posting them.
ReplyDeleteI am ready to move! Can we come live with you? ;)
ReplyDeleteAllison, if you ever want to visit N. central TN and don't mind camping out all over our house, you are welcome!
ReplyDeleteFurthermore, our house may be up for sale in the not-so-distant future...
Selling your house?! Why?
