Yarn Along--taking care of business

Just popping in quickly in the midst of all the Thanksgiving/1st Sunday of Advent preparations to join Ginny for her weekly Yarn Along.  I have not time for any non-essential knitting at this point; I had been determined to have Adrian's Henley done by the end of November, but to accomplish that would mean dropping just about everything else in order to knit, and that is never an option.  I have decided that the sweaters aren' Christmas gifts anyway (Una and Gemma have already worn theirs), so I may have to put it aside unfinished at some point to work on a little Christmas gift-making (I have bedding for a doll bed to make, and maybe a doll dress and sweater).

I finally finished An Exorcist Tells His Story, and I read some of The Rhythm of the Family (November and December), and I am so excited to have gotten this book from my sister for my birthday!  I find I am looking forward to the holidays being over so that I have a bit of time to play!  I am also waiting for a special belated birthday package from Knit Picks...something I have been promising to buy myself for almost two years.

I just know that you're knitting for Christmas, and I am hoping that in the midst of the cooking and cleaning, I will find time to stop by and see what you are up to!

If you haven't already, stop by the Yarn Along on Small Things and find some reading and knitting inspiration!
