Yarn Along--chilly November evenings

Joining Ginny for another Yarn Along this week.  Forgive the fuzzy photo, but I am dealing with a camera that isn't working right, and I am not sure when it will be fixed or whether it is even worth fixing!

I have been working on what was to be a cushion cover with knit roses, but as I look at it, I am beginning to think I might frog it and start over, making a scarf with roses on the ends...I know someone who would like that, and it is simple enough to do before Christmas.

I am also casting on Ginny's hat with a bit of lace for my Goddaughter-to-be.  It looks pretty, and I can't get enough of knitting little baby things.  It is such quick gratification!

My reading hasn't changed from last week...in fact, I haven't gotten any further since last week.  Our read-aloud, however, is The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P. Figg.  Looks like good boy-reading.

  1. Oh I love the color of the cushion cover/scarf. I'm sure whatever it becomes it will be lovely. Ginny's hat pattern is just pressious, just wish I had a little one to knit for.

  2. Firstly, I l.o.v.e your header a lot! I chuckled a bit about changing the cushion to a scarf - as my work is morphing into something else as well. So funny. Have a great week. Cheers~
