I love it when someone much more organized than myself puts together a fantastic unit study! That is why I am encouraging Marilyn's daughter, Abby, to keep prodding her mother to put all her hard work on this World Tour into e-book form.
So far she has only posted her Australia and Africa "itineraries", but they look wonderful, and the children and I hope to tag along when she begins.
You are so sweet Nadja. I actually have a lot of things I want to email you - freebie resources and printables - but just not getting to it. I am hoping to get the bare bones of the other continents done. I am thinking of maybe doing an itinerary to avoid winter - so start with Australia (it will be their Spring, move onto Asia then Africa. Get to Europe for the early Spring there and finish up with the Americas and Antartica late Spring/Early Summer 2010.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to spend some time thinking of organization and scheduling for school - always humbling to do a schedule - shows how short our days are. Also helps me avoid over-buying or over-scheduling.
